Marine Surveys
ECOSA carry out inter-tidal marine surveys in accordance with Marine Nature Conservation Review (MNCR) guidelines.
The MNCR survey methods are aimed at supplying information to inform the identification of conservation importance of marine sites. The survey methods involve systematically and consistently the character of the habitats present and the abundance of species. This then enables comparisons between sites to be made and provides a comprehensive baseline for which to assess potential impacts.
