Management Plans
Ecological management plans are often required as a condition of planning permission to increase the nature conservation value of a site in order to meet mitigation objectives.
ECOSA produce user friendly, detailed management plans which provide effective management prescriptions.
ECOSA’s past management plan preparation and implementation experience includes the development of management agreements with landowners for habitat creation.
We have produced and initiated long-term management plans for nature reserves, including the Hersey Nature Reserve, an area of saline lagoons and grazing marsh on the Isle of Wight. We have produced management plans for extensive areas of coastal landslip which have included the creation of invertebrate terraces and vegetation management.
ECOSA are currently involved with a large road realignment project on the Isle of Wight in which we have prepared a detailed fifty year management plan for the scheme.
