



Ecological Impact Assessment
ECOSA produce Ecology Chapters for formal Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) or to support other environmental appraisals and Appropriate Assessments. Services provided include the preparation of scoping reports and consultation, the collection and analysis of baseline ecological data, assessment of impact significance, the design and implementation of innovative and appropriate mitigation measures, the design of future monitoring requirements. We work closely with the project team to provide practical and innovative solutions to potential ecological impacts.
ECOSA follow Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) guidelines developed by the
Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM)
These guidelines promote good practice for the EcIA assessment of terrestrial, freshwater and coastal habitats (to the mean low water mark) in the United Kingdom.
