Health & Safety Policy
The ECOSA health and safety policy applies to all personnel, including all sub-contractors, associates and visitors.
Our statement of general policy is:
- To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
- To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
- To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
- To ensure safe handling and use of substances;
- To provide information instruction and supervision for employees;
- To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks and to give then adequate training;
- To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;
- To maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and
- To review and revise the Health and Safety policy at regular intervals.
The health and safety policy has the full support of the company Managing Director.
Safety First Consultants (CFIOSH) of Southampton provides ECOSA with advice and regular health and safety training.
All ECOSA employees are subject to basic health and safety awareness training, including working at height, working near water and asbestos awareness. All employees are also registered with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
Environmental Policy
ECOSA is committed to operating in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner.
ECOSA will lead by example in its own activities through the commitment to its Environmental Policy and will aim to minimise the impacts of its activities. It is determined to pass on the local environment to future generations in a better condition than it is today.
Quality Assurance Policy
ECOSA’s quality assurance policy is to achieve sustained, profitable growth by providing services which consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of its clients.
The objectives of the Quality Assurance System are:
- To work to regulatory and professional bodies ecological survey and mitigation guidelines;
- To work towards achieving an effective Quality Assurance System which complies with International Standard ISO9001 (Quality Systems);
- To achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the Company's reputation with clients;
- To ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements; and
- To endeavor, at all times, to maximise client satisfaction with the services provided by ECOSA.
